SALARY AND ISSUES STUDY UNDERWAY
What do CYCs think are the 3 most important issues in the field?
What salaries and benefits are CYCs receiving?
These are two important questions that the Association for Child and Youth Work Practice (ACYCP) leadership wants to better understand. The ACYCP Board is conducting a survey of CYCs to better understand what CYCs think should be prioritized and what are typical working conditions in the field. The information will be used to mount a public awareness campaign to highlight the essential role of CYCs in the lives of children, youth, and families in our communities. It will be focused on the issues identified in the survey.
CYCCB has agreed to help with the project by sending the survey to all CYCs who have tested or become certified. In addition, we will be sharing it with our Board members and Advisory Committee. CYCCB leadership thinks this is an important way that all of us can collaborate to better understand working conditions and where to best focus public attention.
Certified practitioners are a unique group within the field that needs to be represented. Its important that you take the time to complete the survey. Please only complete the survey once.
All CYCs are invited to distribute the survey to others who might be interested. The easily shared link below can be added to emails or newsletters. It takes most people under 5 minutes to complete the survey.
The survey information is anonymous.
ACYCP is offering a $100 PRE-PAID VISA MASTERCARD. Participants in the survey who would like to sign up for the drawing will find a link at the end of the survey. The link will provide a method for entering the drawing and providing your contact information. The drawing information is NOT CONNECTED to your responses in the survey so all your answers will remain anonymous. The drawing will be held on December 15th, 2020.
SCOPE: The survey is open to anyone working in child, youth, or family services, in any capacity, in any practice setting, and in any geographic region or country. We will be distributing the survey worldwide in collaboration with our international colleagues.
DATA PROTECTION: The information collected in this survey is provided anonymously. It will be reported aggregately so that no individuals are identified.
