Curry, D. (2007). Item analysis of the child and youth care pilot certification examination. Report included (1) reliability analysis (2) difficulty analysis, (3) discrimination analysis, (4) distracter analysis, (5) differential item functioning analysis, (6) analysis of examinee responses to face validity items, and (7) content analysis of examinee feedback by item and case scenario. Report provided to the Assessment Committee of the North American Certification Project/Association for Child and Youth Care Practice. This report helped determine the final selection of items for the current national certification exam.

Curry, D. & Qaqish, B. (2007). Cut score analysis: Recommendations for determination of a cut point for the National Child and Youth Care Practitioner Certification Exam. Recommendations were based upon two analyses: (1) Modified Angoff approach involving an expert panel of ten child and youth care experts from the U.S. and Canada and (2) the Peng and Subkoviak approximation. Report provided to the newly established Child and Youth Care Certification Board.
